Testimony Tuesday!!!

I get so busy with school and life and I just have to stop to thank God for all the blessings that He has given me and the things that I am greatful for today!!! I think I will make this a weekly blog!

1. I am done with my 7 hour K final!!! (which I think I aced too!!!)



2. It is Taco Tuesday at my fav Mexican Restaurant ($1 tacos = yummy)



3. I got 2... yes TWO checks from the IRS today! (shopping?.....yes!)



4. I got a research assistant position!! (Thank God for a law school job!)



5. I have an interview with the State Attorney General for a summer internship!!!



6. AND an offer for a summer clerk position with a federal judge!! (so many choices!)



7. My mother is coming to visit me for mother's day and she is bringing my aunt and my fur babies!!! (Ladies' day out!! I am so excited!!)



8. It is a beautiful day outside! (Another excuse to look cute!)



9. I am loved by so many!! (Even though it presents difficult decisions...)



10. Needlepoint love!!! (I can't get enough!)

SO I have 7 hour contracts (K for all you lawyerettes) final tomorrow and I should be studying like my life depends on it, but instead I am shopping!!! Why?!?! Don't ask because I don't know! I am sooooo very happy that I want to celebrate (plus I have been CRAVING sugary iced cake all week)!!! I finished my first final!!! It was criminal law and I am fairly certain I aced it! Only 4 more to go!! And I got a great award today!!! Can this day get any better?!?!?

What is your current obsession? blogging of course, but also being healthier and collecting cute wedding ideas! (No I'm not even engaged, but a girl can never plan too soon!!

What do you think your name says about you? It must say that I am a boy, because for some reason people always expect me to be male!!

Who was the last person you hugged? My teddy bear! I was having a crisis! And yes, he is a person.

What’s your favorite dinner? in law school... granola cereal with skim milk.. otherwise I LOVE seafood, pasta and barbeque!

What was the last thing you bought? the cutest floppy sun hat! Ssshhh! Don't tell!

What are you listening to right now? my neighbors airconditioner... The thing is loud. Seriously, it is only 75 degrees. Open the window.

What is your favorite weather? Eightees and sunny!

What is your least favorite season? Winter in Chicago... dirty, slushy snow = yuck!

What's in your bathroom cabinet? face wash, face lotion, contacts, contact solution, band-aids, allergy meds, tylenol.

What did you want to become as a child? an obstetrician! I know. I was an overachiever. I couldn't just be a "doctor" like all the other lil kids!

What is your most challenging goal right now? Getting through finals while staying partially sane!

What’s your 5 year plan? It's not really a plan, just wishful thinking.... Done with law school, married to my best friend with one child. Everything else is negotiable!

Why is today special? It is a beautiful day and I am blessed.

What is my favorite sport to watch? Football! Surprise!

To play? Field hockey! I have been playing since I was 8!

So needless to say law school is kicking my cute lil butt right now because of finals! I have 5 finals and the first one is on Saturday. I don't know what genius decided that it was okay for this pearl girl to have to sit in a final ALL Saturday morning! Not cute and definitely not preppy. Unnacceptable.

Good morning friends!!!

Preppy puppy!!!

so.... finals have more or less started for this poor pearl girl :( And times like this, I look to my sweet Blaise Christian Louboutin (shih tzu) and Harry Winston (Yorkie) for love and affection! Unfortunately, my dear mother is babysitting her lil grandpuppies and they are 7 hours away... so in their honor, several cute finds for your little preppy puppy!!
